The feedback has been slowly trickling and it ranged from “wow it works like a charm” to “I can’t use it because I can’t get my COM port setup”. One of the key things that we are focussing on right now is to ease the installation and setup process and make it extremely simple. We met Kalpana a few hours ago and gave a quick demo of ‘wwigo’ to her. In our chat Kalpana quizzes us on what ‘wwigo’ is and what it can do, Ramu passionately explains on how ‘wwigo’ makes every application (Youtube, Skype, Yahoo, Movie Maker etc) in the PC think that a cameraphone is a webcam while I do an live upload of the the chat using youtube’s ‘Quick Upload‘ feature.

We sent invites to another batch of alpha users, if you signed up already and did not recieve a download link then let us know at contact@motvik.com. We have got some very feedback on the product and also suggestions. Most repeated feedback is the difficulty in COM port setting or pairing the device with PC/Laptop, we are working on that problem and would have a good solution for it very soon.
The response to alpha signup had been quite good, and we had more than 60 signups by the end of the day yesterday. We have sent out invites to all those who signed up before 11.59 pm last night. If you had signed up yesterday before 11.59 pm and have not yet received your invitation then do let us know by sending us an email at contact@motvik.com. And if you signed up a little while after that then you would have to wait a little longer till we announce the release the next batch of alpha invites.

Now with the alpha out in the hands of users we are eagerly waiting for the response

We are doing a private alpha release today of our product called ‘WWIGO’ (pronounced ‘vigo’) .
WWIGO stands for Webcam Wherever I Go and it is an application which allows a user to convert his bluetooth enabled cameraphone into wireless webcam to be used along with PC/Laptop. Currently we are supporting only Nokia Series 60 v2.0 phones and if you have any of the following phones you would be able to use ‘ wwigo’.
We are in the process of adding support for more phones.
